So I get this question all the time - can I still wear hosiery with a skirt?

The answer is - kinda! Here are the rules to follow:

Nude hosiery with open toe sandals - NEVER !

Nude hosiery with closed toe shoes - SKIP IT!

Nude hosiery with calf/knee length boots - GO FOR IT!

Black hosiery with open toe sandals - NEVER!

Black hosiery with closed toe shoes - GO FOR IT!

Black hosiery with calf/knee length boots - GO FOR IT!

Some other tips to remember are: always go for the best quality hosiery you can find (makes the difference) You can always find them for good prices at stores like Nordstrom Rack, Century 21, Filenes Basement.

If you don't have nice legs and you really want to wear a skirt with a closed toe shoe just stick to skirt a bit below the knee. Your eye is drawn to the skirt and not your legs when its a bit longer.
